In 1972, I picked up an old Argus C3 35mm camera and started taking pictures. The Argus C3 was a rangefinder camera that looked like a brick with a lens. In 1975, after several years of learning the basics, I purchased a Mamiya Sekor 1000 DTL and used it for the next 20 years.
As I got married and started a family, I put the Mamiya Sekor in the closet and purchased my first VCR/Camera. As my family grew up, we recorded many hours of video, but as the family grew older, my interest in photography, once again, began to grow.
When my oldest son began learning about cinematography in college, he pulled out the Mamiya Sekor and used it in one his classes. Soon, he began to move from the world of video into Photography, and I too, began to renew my interest in this amazing world. Now, armed with my Canon XTi, and four lenses, I'm enjoying the world of digital photography.

Sports:
In my spare time, I enjoy running marathons and the sport of triathlon, competing in dozens of marathons. In November 2006, I competed in the Ironman Triathlon in Panama City Beach, FL. The event consist of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike, and a 26.2 mile run. I finished the race in 14 hours, 15 minutes.
